Advanced IAF Mandatory Document Course

Implementation and use of International Accreditation Forum Mandatory Documents (IAF MD).

International Accreditation Forum (IAF) publishes Mandatory Documents which are required to be used by accreditation bodies when accrediting management system certification bodies (MSCB). International Accreditation Services provides IAF Mandatory Document Training (IAD MD) for its accredited MSCBs. This is to assure that MSCBs operate their programs in a consistent and equivalent manner. Attending this course will provide MSCBs a complete overview of the latest IAF Mandatory Document (MD Series) – designed to harmonize the accreditation and certification process worldwide.

Overview and Learning Attributes of This Training Course

This is an ADVANCED Course for experienced management system certification body (MSCB) staff who are knowledgeable in ISO/IEC 17021-1 and its implementation.  This two day training by International Accreditation Service (IAS) gives key insights and tools to help implement the requirements of 17021-1 such as:

  • Understanding the application of accreditation body requirements
  • Support the operation of the certification bodies to implement the MD requirements
  • Case-studies and examples identifying where the application is required.

Note: IAF Mandatory documents are not intended to establish, interpret, subtract from or add to the requirements of any International Standard, but simply to assure consistent application of these Standards

IAS is recognized by the International Accreditation Forum and Pacific Accreditation Cooperation.
