IAS AI Working Group

IAS has established an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Working Group to guide the organization’s responsible and effective use of AI as well as to develop guidelines for accredited and applicant Conformity Assessment Bodies. The group brings together relevant expertise to examine how AI may support IAS operations and services while addressing associated risks and governance considerations.

The Working Group’s primary purpose is to develop an IAS AI policy and practical guidance that promote transparency, accountability, data protection, confidentiality and appropriate human oversight. This initiative supports IAS’s commitment to maintaining high ethical, legal and technical standards as AI technologies continue to evolve.
