Anyone performing special inspections in New York City should attend this two-day course offered by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). The course provides an overview of the requirements for the New York City Department of Buildings (NYC DOB).
International Accreditation Service (IAS), an approved NYC DOB accreditation provider, delivers training to assist special inspection agencies prepare for accreditation. The course provides information on effectively preparing and implementing a quality management system manual, including the procedures and forms required to comply with ISO/IEC 17020 and the NYC DOB requirements. The training draws upon IAS staff assessment experiences and insights from field visits and quality system reviews. Training includes discussions and exercises and develops participant understanding of basic quality concepts. Training benefits both technical and management personnel directly involved in special inspection administration.
