Technical Officer Position – Accreditation Support

IAS is looking for an entry level individual to fulfill the position of Technical Officer – Accreditation Support. Working closely with the other technical team members, the Tech Officer helps support all aspects of the accreditation process, including; scheduling assessments, managing assessment teams, corresponding with applicants/customers/inquirers, travelling to complete onsite technical assessments of various organizations, reviewing technical reports, assisting with training classes and other general administrative tasks (emails, data analysis, database input, meeting set-up/organization and continual improvement activities). You will be challenged to work with different circumstances based on economy, available technology and cultural norms. You will meet and collaborate with individuals from around the world and may even have the opportunity to personally visit customers worldwide.
IAS is responsible for the top tier of the global conformity assessment structure – accreditation. Working with a small to medium sized team based globally, you can help contribute to the safety and quality of products/services provided to the public, increase confidence in infrastructure – including transportation, water quality, waste management, product testing, measurement and construction, and have the opportunity to do so in various economies worldwide.
