The International Journal of Conformity Assessment Submission Process
As part of the IJCA submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all the following items. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
Step 1:
Provide the Authors information by completing the “paper submission form” (LINK)
Step 2:
Select one of the two Journal sections you wish to submit your work:
Section A: Peer reviewed publications and scholarly articles.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
Section B: Informative section that includes general articles, announcements, white papers etc.
Step 3:
Applicable to all Submissions:
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines (see below).
There is no publication fees for all IJCA articles accepted for publication.
Author Guidelines
Authors are asked to prepare their papers using Microsoft Word, then convert these files to PDF. Both Microsoft Word and PDF versions are expected to be submitted.
Please ensure that when you submit your paper, it is in its final form ready for publication and has been thoroughly proofread. IJCA does not copyedit papers and will not send out author proofs prior to publication.
As a summary, when preparing your paper use the following checklist:
Paper size is A4 or legal.
Margins are at least 25mm all round.
The paper includes the author name and affiliation (full address including country).
There are no page numbers, or headers and footers, within the paper.
The document is free of formatting errors (e.g. corrupt equations, missing or poor resolution figures).
Text is single spaced, not double spaced.
The PDF file is editable and not password protected.
All pages are portrait (landscape pages should be rotated).
Reference lists are checked for accuracy.
Figures are placed within the text, not collected at the end of the document.
A thorough proofread is conducted to check standard of English and ensure wording is clear and concise.
Ensure that your paper includes an abstract.
