Appointments to the IAS Board of Directors

IAS is pleased to welcome three new members on the IAS Board of Directors effective January 1:

• Sergio Ascunce, Building, Zoning & Planning Director at the Village of Key Biscayne, FL
• Jeff Gust, Chief Corporate Metrologist at Fluke Calibration
• Khaled Awad, Chairman/Founder of Advanced Construction Technology Services (ACTS)

Osama Younan, Executive Officer for the City of Los Angeles, Department of Building and Safety (LADBS), was appointed as a member of the board in October of 2018. Rocco Davis has been reappointed as the Chairman of the Board, and Shahriar Amiri has been reappointed to a full three-year term. Devang Jhaveri will continue to be a member of the board, and Stuart Tom has been reappointed to the board as the ICC Board Liason.

The IAS Board of Directors is comprised of 8 voting members drawn from a cross section of agencies and industry, including conformity assessment bodies, regulatory agencies, manufacturing sectors and user groups. These members are well-recognized experts in their respective fields, all of whom have a passion for public service and quality, serving innumerable hours to accomplish their assignments.
