Anyone performing special inspections in New York City will want to attend this two-day course offered by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). This course provides an overview of the accreditation requirements for the New York City Department of Buildings.
New York City
The International Accreditation Service (IAS), an approved New York City Department of Buildings (NYC DOB) accreditation provider, will conduct training to assist special inspection agencies prepare for accreditation. The course provides information on effectively preparing and implementing a quality management system manual, including the procedures and forms required to comply with ISO Standard 17020 and NYC DOB requirements. The training session will draw upon IAS staff assessment experiences and insights from field visits and quality system reviews. The program includes discussions and exercises and requires an understanding of basic quality concepts. This training program will benefit both the technical and management personnel directly involved in special inspection administration.
