Los Angeles USGBC Chapter Executive Director to Speak at IAS Forum
International Accreditation Service (IAS) is pleased to announce that Lance Williams, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Los Angeles Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, will speak on the LEED Green Building Rating System and be available to answer questions on sustainable construction during the IAS forum on Sustainable Products Certification. On Tuesday, April 8, 2008, IAS is sponsoring the forum in conjunction with the meeting of the IAS Accreditation Committee. The forum will be of interest to testing laboratories, inspection agencies and product certification agencies with an interest in green products and their role as conformity assessment organizations in the green movement. Dr. Williams will provide insight into the design, construction and operations of high performance green buildings.
