Salem First City in Oregon to Achieve IAS Building Department Accreditation

The City of Salem Building and Safety Division of the Community Development Department is the first jurisdiction in the State of Oregon to achieve accreditation (October 10, 2012) of its building department by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). The Division was accredited for its permitting, plan review, and inspection services.
