Proposed Accreditation Criteria on the Agenda for the Friday, August 10, 2012, IAS Accreditation Committee Hearing
The hearing will be held at the Doubletree Hotel Los Angeles-Norwalk, 13111 Sycamore Drive, Norwalk, California 90650, (562) 863-5555 (same location as previous meeting). There is a block of rooms for International Accreditation Service at the rate of $109+ per night. When making your reservations at the hotel, please specify that you will be attending the IAS Accreditation Service meeting and use the Group Code of ICS to receive this rate. The cut-off date for booking guest rooms is July 19, 2012, for this rate.
We suggest that attendees fly into either Long Beach (LGB) or Los Angeles (LAX) airports. Transportation from airport to hotel may be via Super Shuttle (www.supershuttle.com for reservations), taxi, or rental car.
Accreditation criteria that will be discussed at the August 10, 2012, IAS Accreditation Committee hearing are listed below. You are invited to participate at the hearing and provide written or oral comments. IAS Accreditation Committee hearings (meetings) are open to all interested partiesno meeting reservations are required.
The purpose of the hearing is to establish or revise accreditation criteria pertaining to IAS accreditation programs and to inform the public on IAS principles and major policies. The open hearing process provides all interested parties with the opportunity to contribute ideas or voice their opinions on any item posted on the agenda.
The hearing will begin at 8:00 a.m.
